Thank you for participating in this study examining attitudes and opinions on the costs and benefits of domestic solar energy systems to the environment and society.  This research is undertaken as part of a UWA PhD research project.

Completion of a short survey is required for this portion of the research. We request that the survey be completed by someone involved in the payment of bills and purchase of appliances or the decision-maker regarding the installation of a solar system.

The survey should take no longer than fifteen minutes to complete. 

The research is seeking to determine perceptions of subsidy programs for renewable energy technologies, and the importance of rebates and community engagement in solar installation decision-making.  The data will be used to determine whether consumers continue to rely on rebates as motivation for installation of a system, and whether consumers are willing to financially support renewable energy technologies, even if the financial benefits are not evenly distributed across society.
